Standardization, standards and standard work are three concepts which should be understandable for every employee of the company, from CEO to operator.

Standardization is the process of implementing, communicating and improving the standards. Continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence is not possible without definition of standard processes.

Standard work is the best known method of producing goods In production system. The main rule is to produce in effective and repeatable manner by concentrating on human movements and systematic improvement of all aspects of work. Standard work allows every operator on the line and every supervisor to regulate and control the process.

Standard is the rule or example describing clear expectations and requirements. It has to be precise, specific, documented and followed.

The training explains significance of standardization in continuous improvement based on practical examples. It delivers methods and tools for creating standards and standard work in production and non-production processes. Standard work is focused on process, that?s why the training is very practical with focus on shopfloor activities.

Theoretical parts are based on examples, case studies, pictures and movies. Participants will work in teams. Every practical workshop will be summarized with teams presentation.
